Interactive Showcase, LEGO STORE, Saint-Petersburg
Viziware installation at LEGO
Flag-store in St.Petersburg instead of a standard non-interactive display
COMMENTS
- Instead of using a screen, Lego likes direct projection to a shop window! The impact is much higher having a big live image, since screens are quite common and people do not pay much attention
- We need to put a lot of effort to an element of getting attention - not just disturbing screen image, but something more obvious - like sudden change of image gamma, or sound effect - a good proposal is a virtual person "nocking" from inside of a screen

Interactive installation at the "Store of the Future" (Netherlands)

Place: The retail innovation lab of the Netherlands (New Babylon, The Hague)
Screen Type: Projection on the textile screen
Content:
"Store of the Future" is the smallest, innovative department store where visitors can take a look at the future is a fact! This initiative by Q & A Research & Consultancy and the Municipality of The Hague offers a platform to consumers, retailers and partners to explore how the physical retail environment of the future will look like. More than 15 retailers and more than 60 partners to test out how technology can make shopping easier and more fun in the future. A laboratory and shop in one, because buying products is certainly possible.
Viziware will support this initiative as Founding Partner by contributing its interactive gesture technology to multiple retail solutions in store. This will allow visitors to interact with content by hand-movements without touching the display or shopping window.
